Kyle and Victoria met while attending the same small bible college in Abbotsford, BC. At the wedding people laughed at Kyle’s determination to win this bright, kind-hearted girl over, joking about his “stalker” like behaviour. Something clearly worked because it wasn’t too much later that these two were dating, getting engaged, and on September 23rd 2016, getting married. I could help but notice throughout the entire day how much Kyle adores his bride. You’ll see in the photos how he couldn’t take his eyes off her and the love in his eyes. It was such a privilege to witness and I found myself smiling while reliving their day editing these photos.
They were married at the always gorgeous UBC boathouse on a warm, late summer/ early fall day. The weather held up long enough for them to married on the docks by the water before heading to Minoru Park for portraits. The reception was filled with laughter and heart-warming speeches and throughout the entire day I saw people wiping happy tears from their eyes. And dang do these two know how to throw a dance party. Everyone was up there right up until the pretty sparkler exit. So. much. fun.
Thank you again for choosing me to photograph your wedding, Kyle and Victoria. I loved getting to know you both throughout this process and am so happy I could be there. I hope you two had the best time on your honeymoon and that your first weeks of married life have been full of joy. So much love to you both! xx
